New Apartment Cheap budget

I'm moving into a 3 bedroom apartment with two of my friend and my boyfriend. It's an old Louisville apartment, but it has been freshly painted white. It still has dark wood borders, beams, and floors.

I want to be proud of my apartment. I feel like I shouldn't be ashamed to have people over. However, it is an apartment and spending too much money would be illogical. So r/Frugal, what are some things you did to make your living space look nice without spending too much. I've looked around on sites, but I want to see what actual people without the skills of Martha Stewart did.

TLDR: New apartment, 3 male roommates, not Martha Stewart, How do I make it pretty and classy.

P.S I work at McDonald's and make $7.48 an hour. I do have money, but it's not exactly overflowing and I don't want to waste it all on decorating. Thank you <3
