Is there any way to make the close button (on the Windows version at least) actually close Spotify?

At the moment, the close button is completely redundant, as it does the exact same thing as the minimize button by default. If I mess with the settings, I can get it to minimize to the system tray, but I can't close it outright without going to file->exit. I understand why programs like Skype do this, but it doesn't really make sense for Spotify. It would be nice if we at least had the option to make this happen.
