Would love some feedback on our eLiquid startup. Started our soft open Thursday.
Hey r/entrepreneur! I rarely post here, but have subscribed and lurked here for a while now. I can say that where we currently are wouldn't be possible with out you guys. So, Thank you all!
Really, I think mostly I would like advice on our site. Does it seem easy to navigate? Also, user friendly? Anything that you might suggest looking at or changing? Are the descriptions too lame? Same as the splash page.
Other stuff: We launched our soft open Thursday and have seen some sales this weekend. We haven't done too much marketing yet. Basically have a street team passing out cards and talking to people they see smoking eCigs. Ran a Facebook post (my partner payed a small fee to promote the post on people's Facebook pages) Had traffic of 136 unique viewers Thursday. Because we don't want to be "those people" that blow up social news feeds we haven't done much after that. Because of this our traffic has exponentially slowed each following day. The hope is that some people that saw it will drop back by and purchase.
We are currently working up some flyers to post in different areas around town. Coffee shops, universities, areas of town, music venues, etc. On each of these our plan is to have a unique coupon code so we can see which areas provide the most return.
Next the plan is to look into advertisement in local news papers... but honestly, before we can pay for stuff like that we need more sales coming in.
