Help a newbie?

I've got about 13 weeks before I give birth but I realize I should get a few things together. (When are you supposed to get things together by the way?)

I really want to do cloth dipes. I did disposable last time and felt horrid guilt but that baby and this baby go to daycare and there was no easy way to do our wash, etc.

I am thinking of just going the bum genius route because someone told me those are the easiest and the ones that they are most likely to take at daycare. But oh man they are a fortune.

Am I wrong to just get some bum geniuses and leave it at that? But $20 a diaper is pretty daunting.

Cloth diapering has gotten soooo complicated these days. I cannot even wade through all the information online. What is the easiest way to prepare for cloth diapering a newborn?
