My true to heart feelings as a Lakers fan.

Well my fellow Laker fans, I'm officially depressed. This whole season has really driven me crazy, and was truly a test of loyalty as a fan to the team. Out of all the different story-lines going on during the season, one was always constant. Kobe Bryant was taking us to the playoffs. Even after last night, the Lakers can still make the playoffs, and I remain confident that they will. Still, watching Kobe go down felt like watching a hero lose the climactic battle. To watch Kobe play great basketball night after night only to suffer a season ending injury hurt so bad, I'm sure you know how I feel. Regardless of what people say, I'm confident that Kobe Bryant will return. He injured his Achilles, not his heart nor his mind. I'm not counting the Mamba out, I'm just counting the days until he returns. If you saw Kobe's post-game interview last night, there was a poster on the wall behind his head. I want to post this quote to emphasize resiliency, determination, and resolve. We'll need it to win another championship. Laker-Nation, hold this message close to heart. We all know Kobe won't give up, and neither will we.

tldr - This quote was behind kobe's head during the post-game interview last night. Kobe will return, the Lakers will win.

"When nothing seems to help, I go and look at a stone-cutter hammering away at his rock perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred and first blow it will split in two, and I know it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before."
