Litecoins devs targeting 0.1 BTC?

Have your grains of salt ready, because this is not exactly coming from the most reputable source out there, but: I've seen the following conversation take place casually on the btc-e trollbox a few minutes ago:

laSeek: Based on the LTC design - which is where its utility & function were designed - it should be 0.1. That's the target by the developers

solracx: 0.1 ? should be 0.5 if you count coins in circulation.

solracx: what is your math for 0.1?

laSeek: Yep - 0.1 - The circulation doesn't define the ratio we have in mind - the characteristics we picked and continue to develop to (as LTC devs) is 0.1 btc

solracx: 0.1 - goals for developers? But what is the math?

solracx: Theoretically, it should be 0.5 today and continue to decline to 0.25 over 100 years.

laSeek: The block discovery time, the ratio of ltc to btc as a current function of their respective chains, the characteristics of the scrypt algo we have which in turn effects difficulty and the amount of work by miners, how tx fees are calculated for new coins

laSeek: solracx - there is no math - but we have, and continue to model to ensure it's a reachable goal

There is one laSeek posting on the litecoins forums which appears to indeed be a developer. Thoughts? It's certainly interesting and promising if this were true.
