How can I play Resident Evil 6 co-op with my friend? There is no LAN function (so no Hamachi) and the game's "play online" functions just try to log onto Steam.

Could anyone lend a hand? I'd really appreciate it... We've been playing these games since their beginning, but I can't afford to pay $60 for what clearly is just another rehash of a digital cash crop.
