Packing with Medical Adhesive - Tell Me What You Know

Hey,

I've seen a lot of packers that you can attach with medical adhesive and then wear until it wears off... but I don't know how I feel about them because I don't know much about them. What can you tell me from what you've heard, experienced, read, etc.?

I guess my main question is: But if you use them, then are you supposed to be clean-shaven?
