Questions about running high RPMs on the highway (Honda CB550k)
I ride about 10 miles to school and back on the highway for about 20 mins roughly on my 1978 Honda CB550K.
I redline at about 9,500. And I travel around 70-75 MPH @ 6,000RPM.
Is it okay if I travel at 80 MPH @ 6,300RPM?
Are motorcycles built to take high revs like that? Should I use a certain type of oil to optimize my performance and extend the life of my engine? Any ips are helpful.
Thanks :)
