Discouraged by a sudden cold-shoulder

I messaged a girl on Reddit a year ago who lives in my area and asked her if she wanted to hang out. She was in a relationship at the time but we both had Tumblr blogs so followed each other. Nothing much happened over the course of a year until recently when we met in person for pizza and beer and I thought we got along fine. I left after a nice meal and conversation and she went home to her house. On my way home I bought some beer then when almost home passed an old friends house who I hadn't seen in a while. I learned from the small crowd outside his apartment that he was in jail. Since I had already had some beer with dinner and a 6-pack in the car I decided to join in with these folks who where drinking outside my friends Apt. Since I had been basically sober for a few months prior to that I apparently had a stronger reaction to the alcohol and ended up getting a DUI on the way home. I was locked up for a month before being released on probation and was unable to contact the girl who I had met for dinner. When I finally got out I find that she has blocked me on Tumblr and won't respond to texts to her phone. I explained what happened but I still hear nothing in return. If she wasn't interested in any type of romantic relationship I can understand and accept that but I'm really hurt that she decided just to drop me completely even as a friendly acquaintance.
