Any creative/fun ways to teach outlining?

I am looking for perhaps a hands on lesson that could be taught to middle schoolers (7-8th) that teaches them how to outline an article or paragraph. For example, identifying the main idea, supporting information, and examples. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks.
