Potential incoming freshman; tell me all about why UCR is the place to go!

I'm currently looking to pick what college to go to this fall. I'm currently thinking that UCR'd be a place that'd be a good match for me, especially after going on a campus tour yesterday. It seems like a nice, relaxed place and the students seem like normal, likeable folks. Plus, it's close to home.

What lead to you folks choosing UCR, and what do you really enjoy about the school?
