Choppy video?

I have a hero 3 black edition. Just shot my first day of skiing with it! I shot in 1080p 60fps wide and videos are VERY choppy. It will be smoothish video for one or two seconds and then it basically freezes for a little bit but the sound is continuous. Anyone know how to fix this?
