So with the Oculus Rift being sent out to people and now tested and experimented with, what do you think will happen with VR and what will it create?
So I have been a dreamer about VR since like forever, since you are almost there in the game, you can create a much more impactfull experience and create new genres or completely revamp old ones. I think exploration and "calm" games can find it place easily in VR. I'm really interested in how games will progress and evolve in the VR space.
It will also create new problems that have never existed in gaming before. I think creating a good game will go further than just graphical power and story, and having the "right" Immersion can be a major sellingpoint.
What do you believe VR in general will create or fix when the technology has matured? And if you have experience with the Oculus, what are some major problem apart from screen tear, FPS and latency issues? Do you think it will be easy to fix those problems, or is it a fundamental fault that needs major changes in how games are visualy interpretated?
