SDSU or UCR?

My choices for my undergrad are UCR or SDSU. I just went to UCR's open house and was very impressed with their campus. I noticed how easy it is to get around campus at UCR and how popular intramural and recreational sports are there. I've honestly never been to the SDSU campus despite living in San Diego for 17 years. I'm a history major and would like to pursue teaching. UCR had a very large emphasis on the research side of things while SDSU is more geared toward teaching. I do student teaching for my senior project and my mentor recommended SDSU.

My questions are: what is the campus like? how are the dorms? How good or easy is it to move around campus without a car? At UCR, I could go pretty much everywhere on a bike somewhat easily. What would you guys recommend?
