IR peak height comparison

I am currently having trouble analysing data from FTIR. I need a method to compare the size of the peaks as i am investigating the effect of of surface plasmon resonance on peak size. I am currently just picking a point and comparing the peak height relative to that point as shown in the graph Is this a valid way to compare peak height ?
