Game no longer runs?

Yeah, one of these...

Anyway, I've been playing ETW, using both the Total Factions mod and the American Civil War mod. Last night, ETF worked fine. Today, nothing will make that, ACW, or the vanilla game run. As soon as I go launch a campaign or do anything, the game fails to load and crashes. I tried uninstalling and re installing ETW, as well as setting Steam to offline. Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks.
