Weird Minecraft Hapenings

O.K so I started a new minecraft survival world today and on day maybe minecraft day 8 mobs started spawning during the day and lighting was a lot more than usual. Also zombies and skeletons would not burn( I did not want to test the spiders out because they were all spawning in one huge group). I just quit my minecraft and thought i should get screenshots, but everything was back to normal
