Has anyone else felt this way?

When I first played fallout 3 I found it to be a very lighthearted and funny game, boy was I wrong. After exploring the area around vault 101 I decided to explore further away from that area. Then Galaxy News Radio lost signal. I began to hear the exploration music playing and my entire aspect of the game changed, it was now grey, depressing and serious. That music was the best ambient music that I have ever heard, and there is one song that hits me in the feels the most, City Of Ruin. Please tell me I'm not the only one who feels this way.
