Backpack Questions.

a couple things

1. its been so many months into this game, how come there are no options to search for backpacks?

2. how come backpack items are not salvageable?

i ask these because i found an item called Fiber Splice, it gives the exact same stats as my friend's Soldier's Spineguard backpack (both level 80 rares), but one costs just over 50 silver and the other sits at 10 silver. i would imagine things would be different if there was a search function for people to find out about this kind of stuff.

another thing is that if you were able to salvage backpacks, you would be getting back your jewels, whether they come together or you invested one of yours but cannot get it back even if it is expensive (like the exquisite stuff).

would like some answers etc... ty
