Coming here for the first time...

...I realize I'm not the biggest Asimov fan on the planet even though I've read the vast majority of his work :-(

But it's awesome to know that there are people that are as much into the vivid universe that he paints.

One of my favorite stories, asides from Robots/Foundation, is The Gods Themselves and my favorite short story is "Reason". It was absolutely hilariously brilliantly written. As a Muslim, it's also interesting to see how he borrows from Eastern mysticism and even Islamic concepts ("Reason" is a great example in the incantation that the robots recite over and over: "There is no Master but the Master and QT-1 is his Prophet" lol) and even in some of the names of the characters in other stories. This is also true of Herbert's Dune as well.

It's great coming across these types of subreddits. It's nice to know that Reddit isn't only about cat pics and unsolicited advice from animals.
