Boyfriend won't quit drinking. Need advice.

I've just quit drinking myself. I'm 2 weeks in after a 1.5 year binge. He says he will slow down and he has, He's gone from 4+ drinks everyday to 2 or less. I don't think it's enough. How do I get him to stop? He knows he has a problem but thinks that his current 2 or less drinks per day keeps him out of the "alcoholic" category. I disagree.
