Are Termagaunts with Devourers a worthwhile troop choice?

Hi all! I'm starting a Tyranid army, and I'm wondering if it would be better to build Termagaunts with flesh borers, or Devourers. They both seem like decent options to me, but I have no clue when or where one would be more preferable to the other.

Devourers offer 50% better range, which should work very well with their "Lurk" behavior. Also, the Devourers put out three shots, instead of the Fleshborer's single shot. Using a squad of 30 Termagaunts to devliver a whopping 90 shots seems like a lot of fun. This could also be useful against Flying Monstrous Creatures, as every round of shooting that hits it will cause a Grounded Test.

However, Devourers double the cost of the unit. If they they aren't powerful enough to deal with a threat, then I might as well save the points cost and use Fleshborers, because either way the unit won't be effective. Also, Tervigons spawn Termagaunts with Fleshborers, so there seems to be a synergy issue with using Devourers.

So, what should I do? Should I build some with Devourers, and some with Fleshborers? Should I just go completely with one option? I'm trying to tilt my army more towards the shooty side of things, if that matters.

On a side not, has anyone had any luck with the Strangleweb? It seems like a great way to flush out S3 Orks and Imperial Guard.
