Dropped a £350 Yard-O-Led fountain pen - repair or replace nib?
I baby my fountain pens, keep them in a case when not in use, rinse them through every few months with distilled water, use quality inks, etc.
Sadly the other day whilst fumbling with my pen I dropped it on the carpet. It hit the chair leg as it landed and consequently the nib looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/OoRLX7l.jpg
I'm loath to spend £100+ to replace the nib when you can pickup the same pen for £150 odd on ebay. Wondering if repairing would be cheaper and just as good?
