Anybody else get antagonized when people hear of your healthy eating/fitness lifestyle?

I know I'm not the only one. You're hanging with friends, they decide to go to a fast food place or eat out and you pass. Instantly you get berated with insults. By politely saying 'no thank you I'm going to cook something', they become offended. It's not as if I'm shoving it in their face, I only bring it up if people ask, I mind my own business. This is especially true for people on cuts, like myself. You're in a routine and want to stick to it and feel pressured to veer off the path.

Well, don't let it get you down. Also don't feel like you need to cave in and appease them. You work hard for your improvements and dedication has gotten you far. If you want to indulge every once in a while that's not a bad thing. Sometimes it's good to have that cheat meal or cheat day. Cravings get pretty hard to ignore. Also, most of the time it's light hearted fun that they bust your chops so try not take it personally. If it really becomes an issue then I would suggest addressing it with the person (no need to be aggressively confrontational, just level with them). Your friends most likely just want you to be involved in their activities, which is understandable.

If you have been in a similar situation then feel free to share your stories!

EDIT: Remember, balance the things in your life. Friends, family, fitness, etc. Being short sighted in any direction can lead to issues.
