My Ent friend's mom is way to overprotective.

STORY TIME: I have little get together, shit get's crazy. 6 people all at a [10]. One's dad can smell the weed so he gets in trouble, that's it. One's mom reads his texts and "talks" to him, me, and another friend about how weed is bad... blah... gateway drug... blah. Later (today) I smoke out the "other friend" who got talked too and couldn't invite the friend who's mom read his texts (for obvious reasons). Then while we're all at his house (Me and a friend are easily at a [7] while he's at a [0]). His mom comes in and brings Kool-Aid and doritos (FUCK YEAH) and she accidently leaves her phone in the room. Later we talk about the small get together and I say, "Oh yeah, i recorded you blowing the O ring, want me to send it to you?" He says, "Yes" and I text it to him. About a second after his phone goes off, his mom's goes off alerting her that I sent her the picture (which I didn't). We look through the messages and she's been getting ALL the texts I sent him.

Fastforward: I'm home, we're on skype playing WoW. Suddenly his mom comes in and he asks why she can get his texts. She explains that she's, "been praying about you to god and all of a sudden she got texts from Joey (me). She believes it was a sign of god protecting him. Bullshit. She then closes the door and he gets back on and says, "Sup Joey?" she then barges in and says, "Were you talking about me behind my back!?" He says, "no" and she just leaves the room.

Is any other fellow Ent's parents this bad or is it just him? Sorry for my grammar, I'm still at a [3].

EDIT: She acted like this BEFORE she found out he smoked pot
