Need more information on RAM

My old computer has passed on, so i brought out my old Dell. However, it has a little bit more than 1000MB of RAM, I understand that 2GB is the bare minimum in most cases. If specs are needed I can supply them upon request. I would like to know where I can get 2GB of RAM and if possible, how to install it. EDIT: I will post the specs as soon as I can, I am on my phone for now. I will post specs later tonight EDIT 2: http://imgur.com/qeBdWzd <---the specs
