How are the drum sounds in this created?

So, at the start of this cover of the Skyrim theme by Lindsey Stirling and Peter Hollens, it says that "Everything you hear on this track was created by ONE VOICE, ONE VIOLIN."

However, at 2:02, it sounds like there is a snare drum (?) being played.

Did they actually replicate the sound of a snare drum with a violin/vocals? If so, how?

Thanks!
