I am a whiskey drinker myself but I can also appreciate a nice glass of Gin. Please give me a suggestion

I have only ever tried a Bombay Sapphire London Dry Gin. I've had it as Gin and Tonic as well as Gin and 7 and have enjoyed it both ways.

I personally don't know anything about gin though and was wondering if someone could give me the name of a fairly inexpensive bottle you would recommend to a Scotch whiskey drinker.

For those of you familiar with Scotch or Whiskey, my preferred drink would normally be a glass of Talisker 10 year or Lagavulin 16 Year straight. The only way I can describe them is Talisker is a very smokey taste that's smooth and not sweet but a little bitter. The Lagavulin tastes like pure peat and is just as smooth but doesn't taste smokey at all.
