Applying to George Washington University

So about 5 years ago I graduated high school I had a shitty GPA because I put fun ahead of school. I joined the military and just started at a community college after I separated and have since maintained a perfect GPA and done my best to be active in as many clubs and activities as possible. Would it be feasible to transfer to GWU at this point or should I just apply to a state university and aim higher for grad school?
