I'm in struggle town
Look Seddit, I don't know where else to turn.
First and foremost, I've not gotten laid in nearly 10 months. It's been brutal. Granted, I have had bad luck when I've been successful with girls, but it's at the point where I don't even try now.
I get nervous and awkward approaching girls. This baffles me because it wasn't always like this. I play sport, study at a good university, dress neatly, work hard, read and am an alright looking dude, so confidence should be rife, right?!
Last night I was out with friends, and I had the ultimate "well fuck" moment when two girls I was out with said "oh just-a-guy- is just like one of us girls. I'm so deep in the "friendzone" (a concept that I resent) that girls don't even consider me to be a guy.
This stretches further though. Whenever friends are having girlfriend problems, I seem to be the blame sponge. I try to stand up for myself, but it is hard.
Seddit, this is not me asking for a pity party. I want to break all of these self-destructive loops that get me into a position like this. I'm 21 and want to enjoy my youth, not be placed on life's backburner.
