I just found this sub, I have some questions regarding this beautiful breed

I've been researching this breed for about a month or so, and I'm extremely interested in adding one to the family. However I'm not the type to trap an animal in an undesirable situation.

I live in a 2 bedroom apartment, no yard, but plenty of space in the immediate area for exercise and play. I have free time to train a puppy, and enough income to afford vet, decent food, toys, equipment, etc.

I searched but couldn't find a relevant post, should I adopt/get a Basenji from a breeder? What questions should I be asking myself to determine if the animal would be happy and comfortable being a part of our household?
