I (26m) am in love with her (25f) but we only have sex every 3-4 MONTHS (when lucky). O_o How do I save this??

I am hugely in love with her, and have been in an otherwise perfect relationship for 8years. I have a huge sex drive and this has been a problem for me for me since the second month of our relationship.

She has always been shy about sex and have great trouble talking to her about it. I have always been understanding and supportive but recently am getting hugely frustrated. I can see this snowballing into a really unhappy and resentful future together.

Does anyone have any advice, or experience coming back from something similar?
