[Help] Bioshock Infinite: China Broom (possible prop construction method?)

China Broom (Assembly Required)

3D priting isn't at all cost effective for large objects, you're better off getting them hand crafted. However, I'm developing a method to replace bigger pieces of props with standard shapes you can buy at the hardware store, and commissioning will be free until I can actually figure out how the eff to do this properly.

Would cosplayers be interested spending $125 for something like this if it requires assembly and painting? If the cost is lower would it be more conceivable? If no assembly is required but it still requires painting?

Also I have no idea how it will look in the end or if it's even printable, so don't get too excited, just looking for any relevant info you fine ladies and gents can provide. Thanks!
