(17M) Some advice on meeting a girl and a future relationship (16F)

Hey,

I met this girl on holiday, it's quite a long story short but we only talked for maybe half an hour on the cruise holiday. I really like her, but I was too shy to approach her more often and yes I regret that a lot. After the holiday she added me on facebook and started a chat with me. Since then we've chatted, I asked for her number and since I asked we've been texting, calling each other, skyping and that. I went to meet her but unfortunately she got grounded for an issue with school, she said she was really sorry and she wanted to try and sneak out the house to see me but couldn't due to parents.

Fast forward to around now.. And we've been talking everyday for 7 months. I call her almost everyday when we can, and we have great chats. Shes says I make her laugh and make her happy, so I opened up several times to her saying how I really like her and she said that she's under a lot of stress because of exams, so after exams we can sort things out and maybe I can be your girlfriend. However she gives me mixed signals with either being a best friend or that she likes me, I don't have a clue.

I like her if course and she lives around an hour and 15 minutes away which is not too bad so I said why don't we meet next weekend. But here's what I'm worried about. I've never been in a relationship before, I've never kissed a girl and I feel I want to get closer to her maybe kiss her when we meet next weekend but I really don't want to ruin things.

I'm a really shy guy, Im not socially awkward or anything but just not sure how to go about this
