Introduction and TMI question...

Hey Ya'll

Some of you may remember me from r/babybumps, but I've recently graduated to the great beyond. Excited to get to know you all. I had a fairly chaotic labor but eventually my little man, Oliver Lee, joined us on March 25, and was able to come home from NICU a few days later. (Still working on my 'birth story manifesto' to post)

Anyway, I have a question to ask about the ladybits. I got tore up pretty good during birth and am aware that my bits will still need several more weeks of patience. I also know that there are likely to be some long term, and possibly permanent changes. One thing I've noticed that I can't find any information on using the google is "stiffness" or "hardness" of my vaginal area. I'm almost 3 weeks post-partum now, and certainly not ready to have sex or anything. But when I gently feel around the outer perimeter of my bits the vaginal walls feel very hard. I know it's normal for it to stay 'open' for a while and slowly close up, but it the hardness normal?

Thanks!
