An Immigr

A man has just moved to America, and he only knew one sentence: "Uh, I don't know!" However, he has somehow managed to start up a Candy shop. One day, a man walks in and asks, "How much is this candy bar?" The Owner, using his only sentence, says, "Uh, I don't know!" The customer, thinking to help the man, corrects him: "You're supposed to say, 'Twenty Five Cents'." The man then buys the bar and walks away. Another customer walks in. He asks, "How much is this candy bar?" The Owner, with his new vocabulary, replies, "Twenty Five Cents." The customer then asks, "Is it fresh?" Baffled, the owner replies, "Uh, I don't know!" The second customer tells him, "You're supposed to say, 'Yes, yes, very fresh!'" The second customer then buys the candy bar and walks away. The third customer walks in. He asks, "How much is this candy bar?" Owner replies, "Twenty Five Cents." The customer asks,"Is the bar fresh?" The Owner replies,"Yes, yes, very fresh!" The customer now asks, "Can I buy it?" The Owner again goes back to his first phrase, "Uh, I don't know!" The customer corrects the owner, saying "You're supposed to say, 'Better do before anyone else does!'" The third customer buys the candy bar and walks away. Now a robber comes in. He demands, "How much money do you have in your cash register?" The owner proudly replies,"Twenty Five Cents." The robber asks, "Are you being fresh with me?" The owner, again willing to demonstrate his competence in English, replies,"Yes, yes, very fresh!" The robber, frustrated, shouts,"I'm going to shoot you!" The last words of the owner were, "Better do before anyone else does!"
