Met an old friend today...

Today I ran into an old friend who is a JW at an indoor park at the mall. I was to be the best man at his wedding before he had a secret wedding at the courthouse. We were very close. Today I saw him and ran up to him, giving him a big bear hug while he was holding his little girl. He gave me a blank emotionless stare and asked "what congregation are you going to?" I rubbed my beard and shook my head. He said "I have standards." and walked away, leaving the park. I turned around and yelled "F*** You!" as he was leaving, giving him the double middle fingers. I did this in front of his daughters and dozens of families at the mall. I am ashamed that I reacted with anger, it was out of character for me. I publicly humiliated myself and probably gave him justification. How can someone who loved you so deeply treat you like a disgusting piece of filth not worthy of even kindness? I hate this organization. It turns friends into enemies and rips families apart.
