Fred Phelps is secretly a good person and his whole "God hates fags" thing is just an act to bring people among different races and backgrounds together.

Now I suppose people here want evidence? Of course, why wouldn't you?

1. He was a former civil rights activist. Now I want you to consider that he once said "we got rid of jim crow laws". Right there shows you that he is not a white supremacist and not close minded. In addition Phelps received awards from the Greater Kansas City Chapter of Blacks in Government and the Bonner Springs branch of the NAACP, for his work on behalf of black clients. Clearly these are not the actions of some racist bigot These are thoughts of an open minded person who saw a flaw in society that needed change.

2. He was an Eagle Scout. Now say what you will want about the BSA and their quarrels with homosexuality. But consider the story about the Eagle Scout who failed to become an Eagle Scout on the grounds of Homosexuality, Thousands of Eagle Scouts sent him their Eagle Scout medals. Right there shows you that to be an Eagle Scout requires a higher thinking and a higher morality than the traditional BSA beliefs.

3)Phelps is not as religious as he acts, Phelps also sued President Ronald Reagan over Reagan's appointment of a U.S. ambassador to the Vatican, alleging this violated separation of church and state. The case was quietly dismissed by the U.S. district court. Now I know many people will point out that he is Baptist not Catholic. But how many other religious fanatics do you know make a big hoopla about the vatican? In addition Phelps is against common Baptist practices like Sunday school meetings, Bible colleges and seminaries, and multi-denominational crusades.

4)This one has the least credibility but in my opinion the most truthful insight. Who do you know in life that actually believes the shit he believes? Now we all know dumb bigoted and perhaps even retarded people in our lives. BUT, how many of us actually know of a person so heartless and stupid as to believe it is ok to picket the funeral of a 13 year old girl? Who do you know is stupid enough to believe that God hates soldiers? Or that every religion, except his version of baptism, are the work of the devil? I mean his beliefs are so warped so skewed and so bigoted that there is no way any sane or healthy person could possibly believe them.

So how is Phelps secretly bringing about peace among people? By being so HATED and DESPISED that people come together to hold hands and sing sings of peace and love. I mean he brings black people and the KKK together. As well as liberals and conservatives, muslims and jews. He truly brings everyone together to hate him.
