I've really gotta know at this point, can Siberian Huskies live with a cat in peace?

My dad is getting married to a woman who has three Siberian huskies. My cat still lives there at my dad's, and she insists the dogs will eat my cat so they're trying to force me to take the cat (who has been living there for 12 years, he has known this woman for about a year).

I'm not exactly a fan of this woman as it is, and the apartment I live at does not allow cats.

I've had dogs in the past that get along just fine with my cat, namely my Australian Shepherd.

So am I the fool here? Is she absolutely right? She's a dog breeder, not a dog trainer, and I feel it's a matter of conservative thinking and laziness, or some potential ulterior motive going on here.
