Opinions needed

Sir has agreed to train me, big task ive never done this before, but he makes my inner sub melt, he is 47 and still trying to settle down as in living arrangments. he said he is staying with a friend right now and is looking for some place good t rent. i know that livin isnt cheap but is this normal? question is is it normal to be 47 and still moving place to place?
