Freshwater bass fishing tips needed

This next weekend, my family and I are going to a privately owned ranch in Laredo, Texas. This ranch has a quite large lake on it (2-3 acres I believe) and I plan on fishing all weekend long if I can. My uncle says it's stocked mainly with largemouth bass. My tacklebox is very limited right now (mainly just have a few worms, a rattletrap or two, and a spinner bait) and I was wondering what types/colors of lures I should stock up on before I go. My budget is probably somewhere around 50 dollars and I already have a nice rod and reel I can use. Just need some tips on what baits are good right now for bass in Texas. Any tips are appreciated.
