[COPY] Is this ok?

I am a 33 year old male with a young 3 month old daughter. We were at a habachi grill with my daughter. I told the guy with a 9 month old next to me we were lucky because she was sleeping through the night. A few minutes later I heard my wife tell everyone at the table " yeah he's sleeping through the night". I felt so disrespected because she contracted me in public. She told me later the woman was annoyed I had said that. I feel awful that my wife sided with the other women and not me. What do you think? Is thus right? My wife does this to me I public a lot and puts me down and contradicts me.
