First time experiences? (never posted here, be nice please.:))

Hey guys, I smoked for the first time today. I don't know what strain it was, it was already grinded up and my friend forgot what it was. I just know it didn't smell good and it was a strain with a small amount of orange-y trichomes. We started smoking around 9:30 A.M.(we used a vaporizer). Approximately 10 minutes later I thought that it wasn't working, so I sat down and started complaining that it wasn't working for me, but suddenly my head started sort of spinning, almost the sort of feeling you get when you stay awake for too long and your brain just gives up and you talk slowly and don't make any sense, and that's exactly what I did. My arms and my head and sort of the back of my tongue all felt the same sort of numbness. Everything that crossed my mind I said out loud. I forgot everything I said as soon as I said it, and I could hear myself talking but couldn't really control it. I stayed in the bathroom for around 5 minutes but then I felt like I couldn't stay in the room anymore, I don't know why, so I went in the living room and turned on the TV. A few times I thought my friend was talking to me when she wasn't, almost as though she was in the TV or something, and she wasn't even in the room, so I carried on a whole conversation with her without her even being there, and then I got thirsty so I poured myself a glass of tea, and I nearly overfilled the glass, I'm not sure why but I just felt like there wasn't enough, and then my friend got me to make her some bagel bites so I did that, narrowly missing burning the hell outta my hand. I was giggly and happy and restless for about 3 hours, and then it slowly faded into a totally relaxed, chill, sleepy sort of state for a few hours, and then I took a 2 hour nap and was still pretty relaxed. I actually still am pretty relaxed. I woke up at 4:30 P.M. and it is now 7:40 ish. I was wondering if you guys could share your first time experiences with me, and give me some tips for future reference? Thanks :)
