My Pre Model 11 Remington Auto Loader revive project

note: would have posted in r/shotguns but guns has a more active community i think. So Hello.

First time trying to make my own post so bare with me. Id like to share a project of mine at the moment. After my grand father pasted years ago i was handed a 12ga. auto loader. fits 4+1 after i removed a plug in the magazine. Turns out it was made in 1906. And i thought my '39 mosin was dated. Anyway in the album is more description on the details of what im working on.

However i would lile any input on ideas for bring the shine of the exposed frame and barrel itself. Just a little, i would rather not take a machine to it. Also any idea on the magazine tube scratches? think i can smooth or polish it and be ok with a nee.friction ring for the most part or does anyone know where i would be able to find a new mag tube for it? numrich is out of them. And of course whats your thoughts on me abandoning the rerivet route and useing force to wedge it in?

And other than the replacement of all the springs and a few things already metnioned is there anythibg else i should be looking into replaceing. keep in mind i have intentions on shooting trap with it (casualy mind you, not several hundred shells a month).

Thanks for looking and any advice or ideas!
