Gsg 1911? Any good?

I recently got my RPAL (canadian license to buy handguns). I've sunk all of my money into longrange shooting but I've always loved the 1911 platform. It's all I've shot and I love it so I thought I'd buy one. I just don't have the money. Should I buy this gsg 1911 so the ammunition won't destroy the remnants of my wallet or should I save and buy a sr1911. Ill be getting the sr1911 in the future either way.
