I'm on a quest to bring back civcraft to it's former glory through economy stimulation!
Let's sit down and think for a moment. In real life what do people love? They love money. Money makes the world go round. The more money people have, the better the economy gets. People can start businesses, people can buy homes, expension is created, and the world is generally a happier place. Let's face it, civcraft is nothing like this. We are like a third world anarchy country where everyone is to scared to do anything, or to lazy. And what happens to a country when it becomes poor? People leave. If we could stimulate the economy, and get people fat and happy again, civcraft might have a chance to be back in it's former glory!
So here are a couple of suggestions from me on how I think we will get the economy going. I want you in the comments to add as many ideas as you see fit.
-
Inns: These would be placed around the world in random locations (not in towns) where players generally spawn. They would serve as a place where new players can stock up on food and learn the general rules of the server.
-
we need entrepreneurs: Such things as building company's and crafting company's. These would serve as to employ players, and create sources of income.
-
markets: more places where people can feel comfortable selling. So we can have designated areas to sell or buy, without all the running around and risk. These should be in major towns.
Anymore ideas? Thoughts?
