Feral Hosting certificate expired?
Anyone else seeing this? Looks like their SSL cert expired on April 13, 2013 at 8:00pm EDT. Any attempt at accessing the site fails on every browser I've tried. Usually with expired certs you can still proceed, despite the browser's warning, but this just stops you dead in your tracks with no option to proceed.
I just can't catch a break this week with these guys. Just got my slot moved over a few days ago to one not on OVH, and of course now I can't get to their site because their cert has expired. What's going on over there?
UPDATE: Setting the clock back on your computer will allow you to access the site successfully. I did this just long enough to grab my password and the unsecure URL for my installed apps. I've also confirmed that even after setting my time back to normal, I was still able to SSH into by slot without any issues. This should give me the access I need until they can get this resolved.
UPDATE 2: Turns out only Chrome and Firefox are being super stringent on this SSL expiration. Until the cert can be renewed, you can use IE or Safari to access the site (albeit via an expired certificated). Perhaps someone more in the know than I could expound on what the possible implications in terms of privacy and security that might have.
