Underwater forging glitch, fake?

So um trying to do the underwater forging thing but I can't do it. I can do the one where I forge inside an island but not underwater forging. I put a spawn point and I commit suicide, I respawn inside the water but still I get the return to battlefield message and end up dying. I tried setting up a safe zone and a respawn zone with no luck though. How do I do it?
