How do you keep confident when surrounded by guitarists who are a lot better than you?

I've been playing for about a year and can play fairly well but no where near artists that I listen to, obviously. I'm not expecting to be playing like a performing artist right now but I keep finding myself doubting myself and my ability to get to the level I want to be at. I just want to know if there was a trick that seasoned players did to keep from loosing confidence.
